An immersive, musical play filled with vibrant songs and dynamic movement, where the audience engages as the jury, actively participating by casting their votes. We encounter the exception that shakes the world we have known. The exception reveals the naked truth of the existing customs. Even if these customs are harmful practices, should we follow them for the sake of a stable society? The merchant Karl Langmann, who must secure the oil contract at all costs, is accompanied by a guide and a coolie on his journey. Under the merchant’s constant urging, the three of them embark on a long journey across the Yahi Desert. The merchant becomes uneasy and disturbed by the guide’s evident favoritism towards the coolie and fires the guide. Now, all that lies before them is the endless expanse of Yahi Desert and their own customs. As the water supply dwindles, the merchant becomes increasingly anxious and ends up killing the coolie, who in fact approaches with the intention of providing the merchant some water.

Founded as Egalitarian Collective System in May 1996 with the spirit of auteur theory, it is a theater company of tradition and passion that celebrates its 29th anniversary in 2025. In the future, the theater group „BAN” will continue to strive to make human-like plays with a healthy theater spirit.

O piesă muzicală captivantă, plină de cântec și mișcare, în care publicul este implicat în calitate de juriu, participând activ prin voturile sale. Întâlnim excepția care zguduie lumea așa cum o știm. Excepția dezvăluie adevărul despre obiceiurile existente. Cu această ocazie, se naște întrebarea: chiar dacă aceste obiceiuri sunt practici dăunătoare, ar trebui să le urmăm de dragul unei societăți stabile? Negustorul Karl Langmann, care vrea să obțină contractul petrolier cu orice preț, este însoțit în călătoria sa de un ghid și un coolie (denumirea pentru un muncitor necalificat din țările asiatice). La îndemnul negustorului, cei trei pornesc într-o lungă călătorie prin Deșertul Yahi. Negustorul devine neliniștit și deranjat de favoritismul evident al ghidului față de coolie și îl concediază. Acum, tot ce li se așterne în față este întinderea nesfârșită a Deșertului Yahi și propriile lor obiceiuri. Pe măsură ce rezerva de apă se diminuează, negustorul devine din ce în ce mai nervos și ajunge să-l omoare pe coolie, care, de fapt, tocmai se apropia cu intenția de a-i oferi negustorului niște apă.

Fondată ca Sistem Colectiv Egalitar în mai 1996, în spiritul teoriei autorului, este o companie de teatru cu tradiție și pasiune care își sărbătorește, în 2025, cea de-a 29-a aniversare. În viitor, trupa de teatru „BAN” va continua să creeze piese umane, bazate pe un spirit teatral sănătos.
