„Mukashi-banashi” is the Japanese expression for folk tales, which literally translates to „stories that once were”. Also from the past is the fairy tale „Nezumi Jodo – The Realm of Mice”, or the story of rice cakes that, rolling down a hill, fall right into the gallery of mice, leading the old bamboo cutter on an unexpected adventure. The story is about kindness and moderation. Its moral, overcoming cultural and geographical boundaries, reminds us of the classic proverb „the reward according to the deed”. „Mukaaaaashi-Mukaaashi” – „once upon a time” the narrator’s voice gently begins to open the gate to a magical land, where the children’s souls flutter, accompanied by the living images created through the grace of eurythmic movements and the music that resounds from the Japanese Shinobue flute. The show is interactive, with children encouraged to participate through song and gesture.

ETHERIUM-VISIBLE SOUNDS debuted in 2019 with the premiere of the show “Hikarimo Sakeyo/ The light tears itself apart”. In the three years that followed, the band grew and had fruitful collaborations with artists from the musical and theatrical world. The number of shows has increased and now the repertoire includes shows for both adult and children’s audiences. The performances were hosted both in Waldorf and Montessori schools and kindergartens, as well as at theater festivals and cultural events in Romania, Switzerland and Japan, with approximately 80 performances: „Theatre under the Moon” Festival Moinești, „Elementum” Festival Cluj, „Garden with Artists” Festival Bucharest, „White Night of Museums” at the National Museum of History Bucharest, at the National Museum of Contemporary Art, „Dâmbovița Delivery” 2022, „Wish Fest” 2022, „Alma-humana” Goetheanum Switzerland. Through its active presence in the national and international cultural space, Etherium-Visible Sounds brings diversity and dynamism by promoting the choreographic art that aims to make speech and music visible – Eurythmy.

„Mukashi-banashi” este expresia din limba japoneză pentru basmele populare, aceasta se traduce cuvânt cu cuvânt prin „povești ce au fost odată”. Tot din timpuri ce au fost odată este și basmul „Nezumi Jodo-Tărâmul șoriceilor” sau povestea turtițelor de orez care, rostogolindu-se la vale, cad fix în galeria unor șoricei, conducându-l pe bătrânul tăietor de bambus într-o aventură neașteptată. Povestea este despre bunătate și cumpătare. Morala ei, depășind granițele cultural-geografice, ne amintește de clasicul proverb „după faptă și răsplată”. „Mukaaaaashi-Mukaaashi” – „a fost odată ca niciodată” începe blând vocea povestitorului să deschidă poarta către un tărâm magic, în care sufletul copiilor zburdă, însoțiți fiind de imaginile vii create prin grația mișcărilor euritmice și muzica ce răsună din flautul japonez Shinobue. Spectacolul este unul interactiv în care copiii sunt încurajați să participe prin cântec și gest.

ETHERIUM-VISIBLE SOUNDS a debutat în 2019 cu premiera spectacolului „Hikarimo Sakeyo/ Lumina se sfâșie”. În cei trei ani care au urmat trupa s-a mărit și a avut fructuoase colaborări cu artiști din mediul muzical și teatral. Numărul spectacolelor a crescut iar acum repertoriul cuprinde spectacole pentru publicul matur și pentru copii. Spectacolele au fost găzduite atât în școli și grădinițe Waldorf și Montessori, cât și la festivaluri de teatru și evenimente culturale din România, Elveția și Japonia, având aproximativ 80 de reprezentații: Festivalul „Teatru sub lună” Moinești, Festivalul „Elementum” Cluj, Festivalul „Grădina cu artiști” București, „Noaptea Albă a Muzeelor” la Muzeul Național de Istorie București, la Muzeul Național de Artă Contemporană, „Dâmbovița Delivery” 2022, „Wish Fest” 2022, „Alma-humana” Goetheanum Elveția. Prin prezența activă în spațiul cultural național și internațional, Etherium-Visible Sounds aduce diversitate și dinamică promovând arta coregrafică care își propune să facă vorbirea și muzica vizibile – Euritmia.
